Dots Obsession -Infinity Mirror Room.Exhibition

Recently I attended this really interesting exhibition in the SMC art centre in Vilnius , that Iwould like to share with you, the artist from Tokyo produced some really interesting work.  The whole exhibition was produced by using large yellow bubbles, with black dots on them. The dots that recur in her work are a visualisation of an illness, that Kusama (who is now in her 80’s) has suffered from since childhood, that occludes her vision, in a field of sports. While her work is emblematic of this sad affliction, her use of colour, and inflatable sculptures, that retain a naive and playful quality, makes her work a joy to experiece!
