Simple yet very eye catching and very inspiring magazine layout by Ryan Van Kesteren a talented 24 year old graphic design student, currently in his third year at Lincoln School of Art & Design. I like the contrast between dark black and white photography and light shade of salmon used in the layout.
OFFSET After-party in Dublin
Recently (on the 7th of november) me and my uni mates attended OFFSET graphic design after party in association with GRAFIK magazine which took place in Dublin ‘Twisted Pepper’ night club, the whole event was really cool and I was really impressed, there were 4 rooms of audiovisual treats, Donal Dineen in the stage room, Synth Eastwood, Dublin Streets, and The Small Print in the café, Bodytonic in the basement and more fun in the Mezzanine. There was drawing on the walls, and on the glass with these special markers, loads of great graphic designers and illustrators to share your interests and great music for a wee dance in between! We had a really great time so have a look at the photos and tell me what you think!
Calvin Klein collections.Vogue
I had Adobe indesign project in my University of Ulster Belfast , where i had to create a promotional material for Calvin Klein, i chose to do a double spread for Vogue magazine, because i always read Vogue, and i think it’s style and design is one of the best in magazine industry, i tried to pick a similar font and reflect the style of Vogue, used a bit of hand drawing too, and the rest is just indesign.
