Some new illustrations for Sunday evening

Hi, hope everyone had plenty of time to prepare for Christmas. I literally haven’t bought one present yet, and haven’t even decorated my house properly…talking about last minute Christmas rush! haha I will probably end up delaying everything until friday and then the madness will kick in ahh well! Otherwise apart from being busy with other things I created some new illustrations that you can check on my society6 shop , hopefully this procrastination about Christmas shopping will end sometime soon before its too late!

Pop the top, add a bit of sunshine and

DIY leather envelope shaped case/bag

Todays post is something I  was ment to post ages ago, few months ago I made these A3 leather cases/bags to put my university research in them, it was really easy to make and costed only £6 to make both of them. All I did was – purchased a few meters of faux leather, and sewn both sides to make a bag, then I folded the front into the envelope/triangle shape and used strong glue to stick it together and after that I got some double sided sticky buttons and used that to seal the bag. Let me know what you think, and  link me if you ever tried to make a bag before.

Aztec print illustrations + iphone cases

Just another illustration for today that I created last night (one of many so the next post will be about birds ha) this was inspired by aztec patterns, playing with different pastel colours and lines, original drawing was a bit different I used acrylic paint for the background and black ink on the top, then after scanning I changed fillings with bold colours to keep graphic lines of the aztec pattern as the main focus.

Tulip print scarf, self portrait / illustrations

I found few vintage scarfs in my room, and decided to take some self portraits with my camera , and when then thought I will draw some quick floral illustrations, inspiration can come from most random things I guess! I just finished scanning all the work I’ve been drawing lately so I will upload  it on my next  blog post. Think I might have an addiction of beautiful vintage scarfs, If i’m at the car boot sale or one of those places I always grab few new ones for my collection. I guess sometimes it’s fun to do all these silly things…I’m away to get a coffee and finish  my new watercolour ink that I really like x V
